Calculation of critical and conjugate Depths in Trapezoidal Open Channels with Optimal Method

Abstract:

A New algorithm for the calculation of conjugate depth of hydraulic jump and critical depthin the trapezoidal open channels is put forward with the use of optimal principles.This algorithm has the characteristics of fast calculation speed and high accuracy.
