Abstract:
【Objective】The study aimed to evaluate the yield and stability of Psathyrostachys juncea germplasm in different locations and years, screen out the excellent P. juncea germplasm with strong adaptability, and provide theoretical basis for the identification and promotion of P. juncea germplasm.【Method】In this study, two clonal populations were established from each of the 21 P. juncea germplasms as experimental materials. The adaptability, yielding ability, stability, discrimination ability and representativeness of eight seed yield-related traits at two locations for two consecutive years were analyzed by ANOVA analysis and GGE biplot model.【Result】In different environments and different years, the seed yield-related traits of 21 P. juncea germplasms showed significant variation.Among them, the coefficient variation of seed yield per plant was the highest. The seed yield-related trait indicators at the Baotou experimental site were higher than those at the Hohhot experimental site for two consecutive years. The ANOVA analysis showed that reproductive tiller numbers, spike width, spike node numbers, thousand kernel weight, seed weight per spike and seed yield per plant reached extremely significant level, affected by genotype, environment, year and their interactions (P<0.01).The effects of environment and year on seed yield traits of P. juncea were dominant. The results of adaptability analysis of eight seed yield related traits of P. juncea showed that the most adaptable germplasms in Hohhot were PI 549118,PI 502573,PI 531827,PI 598610,PI 565052 and CF 005043;the most adaptable germplasms in Baotou were PI 549118,PI 619565,PI 502577,PI 598610,PI 531827 and PI 578854.The results of yielding ability and stability analysis showed that PI 549118 and PI 502572 had better performance. The results of correlation analysis between the two locations showed that there was a close positive correlation between the two sites.Combining the discrimitiveness and adaptability analysis, the ideal pilot was Baotou.【Conclusion】Based on the GGE biplot of seed yield traits of P. juncea,PI 549118,PI 502572 and PI 598610 of P. juncea germplasms with promotion value in Inner Mongolia,as well as Baotou,an ideal experimental site with representativeness and adaptability were screened.
