| Beginning with the analysis of common characteristics of academic paper titles and abstracts,this paper presents some fundamental skills for Chinese-English translation of paper titles and abstracts,the causes for common translation errors,the importance of the original abstract understanding,choices of words and sentence patterns,and the right use of complex sentence structures,which,presumably,can be helpful to the title and abstract translation of academic papers on agricultural subject. |
