| 观测了固鸡鸡慢羽系胫色，羽色的变化规律及羽毛生长情况。结果表明：随着周龄的增加，胫色由浅色向深色转变；而羽色则由深色向浅色转变。固始鸡慢羽系部分公鸡6周龄已有明显的性征表现，此时鸡冠发育清楚可辨，羽色鲜艳，亮丽，且多为红棕黄羽。从9日龄开始，雏鸡绒羽依次从颈部，胸部换羽，30日龄左右开始部分长尾羽。 |

| Study on shank color,plumage color and feather growth of slow-feathering pure line of Gushi fowl |

| Abstract: |
| The observation on shank color,plumage color and feather growth order of Gushi Fowl was conducted in this experiment.The results shows:shank color changed from light to dark while plumage color from dark to light with week-age.A part of slow-feathering pure line cocks had significant sexual characters at 6 week-age,and their plumage color was florid and mainly red-brown-yellow,and the cock's combs had some degree's growth.From 9 day-old,the order of molting in Gushi Fowl was as follows:first neck,then belly.Some Gushi Fowl'tail feather began to develop at 30 day-old.Such research result can be served as referenced in production and breeding of Gushi fowl. |
