| 中国古代数学的辉煌时期有三《九章算术》时期，《缀术》时期，《数书九章》时期。中国古代数学衰落的原因有三独尊儒术，蔑视逻辑，轻视数学知识；崇尚玄学，迷信数术，歪曲数学思想；固步自封，墨守成规，拒绝数学符号。 |

| There were the three periods for the brightness of the ancient Chinese mathematics:the period of Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art;the period of Zhuishu,the period of Arithmetic in Nine Sections.There were the three causes for the decline of the ancient Chinese mathematics:advocated the Confucianism and despised the logic;advocated the metaphysics and distorted the mathematical thought;stuck to the conventions and despised the mathematical symbol. |
