用幂函数分析了雨滴最终速度与雨滴直径之间的关系,并从贝斯特的雨滴直径分布函数出发导出了雨滴最终速度分布函数。分析表明,当雨强较小时,雨滴最终速度服从韦伯分布;当雨强很大时,则服从截断的韦伯分布。最后,讨论了雨滴最终速度分布的尺度参数和形状参数,两者均取决于降雨强度和降雨类型。 |

Distribution of Raindrop's Terminal Velocity in the Loess Plateau |

Abstract: |
A power function is employed, in this paper, to describe the relations between raindrop′s terminal velocity and its diameter.Based on the raindrop diameter distribution by A.C.Best, the distribution of raindrop′s terminal velocity is, therefore, obtained. It is indicated that the raindrop′s terminal velocity obeys Weibull distribution or
truncated Weibull distribution when the rainfall intensity is lower or higher, respectively.The scale and shape parameters are discussed, both of which depend on the intensity
and type of rainfall. |
