| 利用汉化FOXBASE，在微机IBM-PC/XT上研制了地方猪种质资源数据库管理系统（PGRDMS）。系统功能包括文件管理、数据维护、查询检索、统计汇总、报表输出、图形绘制、科学运算及系统返回八大主模块。其中部分统计计算由BASIC程序实现，图形绘制调用了工具软件FOXGRAPH。经试运行表明，该系统的功能符合我国地方猪种质资源保存工作的需要，亦适用于一般猪场推广应用。 |

| Abstract: |
| Local Pig Genetic Resource Data Management System(PGRDMS) has been established with FOXBASE 2.10 on IMB-PC/XT computer.The PGRDMS is composed of eight main modules:file management,data uphold,file search,statistical totaling,report output,graphical plotting,calculation and text return. Some statistical calculation is completed with the programs written in BASIC language. FOXGRAPH software has been used in the cart drawing. Through the operation,this system has been proved to be useful and practical not only for the conservation work of genetic resources of local pigs,but also for the data management of other pig farms in China. |
