不同坡位下柠条根系分布特征及其与土壤含水量的关系研究

摘要:
【目的】探究生态脆弱区不同坡位样地柠条(Caragana korshinskii)根系分布特征及其与土壤含水率的关系,为生态脆弱区人工植被建设与管理提供参考。【方法】以内蒙古自治区西部包头市达茂旗作为研究区,于2021年8月在研究区内选择生长在同一坡面(坡度约为6°,坡面为西北坡)的柠条(林龄为17年)林地作为试验地,分别在坡面的上、中、下选取样地,分析3个坡位样地中柠条不同径级(细根(0~2 mm)、小根(>2~5 mm)、中根(>5~20 mm)、大根(>20~50 mm)根系形态特征(长度、体积和表面积)和土壤含水率在水平、垂直方向的分布特征,且对不同坡位样地中柠条根系形态指标与土壤含水率的相关性进行了分析。【结果】在各样地中,柠条根系形态指标和土壤含水率均表现为坡下>坡中>坡上。柠条细根、小根、中根、大根的根长、体积和表面积均表现为随着与柠条标准丛根基处水平距离和土层深度的增加而总体减少。在水平方向上,土壤含水率随着与距柠条标准丛根基处水平距离的增加而逐渐减少;在垂直方向上,土壤含水率随着土层深度的增加而减少。柠条根系的总长度、总体积和总表面积与土壤含水率均呈极显著正相关。【结论】不同坡位下柠条根系特征和土壤含水率均存在明显差异,柠条根系部分形态指标在一定程度上能够反映土壤含水率的大小。

Root distribution characteristics of Caragana korshinskii and their relationship with soil water content in different slope positions

Abstract:
【Objective】This study explored root distribution characteristics of Caragana korshinskii in different slope sites in ecologically fragile areas and their relationship with soil moisture content to provide reference for construction and management of artificial vegetation in ecologically fragile areas.【Method】Taking Damao Banner,Baotou City in the west of Inner Mongolia as the study area,Caragana korshinskii (forest age 17 years) forest land on same slope (northwest slope at 6°) was selected as the test site in August 2021.The sampling sites were selected on upper,middle and lower slopes,respectively,and Caragana korshinskii with diameter classes of fine root (0-2 mm),small root (>2-5 mm) and middle root (>5-20 mm) were analyzed.The root morphological characteristics (length,volume and surface area) and distribution characteristics of soil moisture content in horizontal and vertical directions of large root (>20-50 mm) were determined,and the correlation between Caragana root morphological indexes and soil moisture content in different slope sites was analyzed.【Result】In all fields,root morphological indexes and soil moisture contents of Caragana korshinskii were in the decreasing order of lower slope>middle slope>upper slope.The root length,volume and surface area of fine root,small root,medium root and large root of Caragana korshinskii decreased with the increase of horizontal distance from the foundation of Caragana korshinskii standard clump and soil depth.In the horizontal direction,soil moisture contents decreased gradually with the increase of the horizontal distance from the foundation of Caragana standard clump.In the vertical direction,soil moisture content decreased gradually with the increase of soil depth.The total root length,volume and surface area of Caragana korshinskii showed a very significant positive correlation with soil moisture content.【Conclusion】There were obvious differences in root characteristics and soil moisture contents of Caragana korshinskii under different slope positions.Some morphological indexes of Caragana korshinskii root can reflect soil moisture content.
