基于Hurst指数的DNA序列相似性分析

摘要:
【目的】建立直接将Hurst指数作为指标参数进行DNA序列相似性分析的方法。【方法】以11个物种β-球蛋白第一个外显子的编码序列作为分析对象,首先将DNA序列转化为数字序列,然后用重标极差分析法计算各编码序列的全序列Hurst指数,之后利用它们的Hurst指数构建距离矩阵进行相似性分析,并将建立的基于Hurst指数的DNA序列相似性分析方法与其他方法的分析结果进行比较。【结果】建立的基于Hurst指数的DNA序列相似性分析方法,较好地从相关性角度反映了分析序列的生物特性指标,具有较好的相似性分析效能。与其他方法相比,该方法分析结果的敏感性较高,有助于提高进化距离较近的分析对象间的区别度。【结论】Hurst指数可以作为指标参数描述DNA序列的相似性,可将其进一步应用于生物序列的信息分析。

Similarity analysis of DNA sequences based on Hurst exponent

Abstract:
【Objective】This study studied the application of Hurst exponent as basic parameter for similarity analysis of DNA sequences.【Method】The first exon coding sequences of the β-globin gene of 11 species were analyzed.These DNA sequences were converted into digital sequences,and their Hurst exponents were calculated based on R/S method and used to construct distance matrix for similarity analysis.Analysis result was compared with other existing methods.【Result】The analysis result of our method reflected the characteristic indices of the correlation of the sequences,which provided good analysis efficiency.The results also provided higher sensitivity than the results obtained from other methods,which could help to promote categorization ability of objects with small phylogenetic distance.【Conclusion】The analysis suggests that Hurst exponent can be used as basic parameter for similarity analysis of DNA sequences,and the method can be used for further biological sequences analysis.
