Abstract:
【Objective】 The study investigated the coexistence of four diffused neuroendocrine markers in the corpus luteum cells, including S-100 protein,5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT),neuron specific enolase (NSE) and synaptophysin (SYP).【Method】 Four diffused neuroendocrine markers in dairy goat ovary slice during mid trimester of pregnancy(50-70 d) were determined by double immunofluorescence labeling for confocal laser scanning microscopy.【Result】 Coexpression of S-100 protein and SYP expressed in the same corpus luteum cell and expression was strongly positive, which distributed in the perimeter of the corpus luteum. The positive cells coexpressing S-100 protein and SYP accounted for 56.57% of the total positive cells.Coexistence of S-100 protein and 5-HT,5-HT and SYP,NSE and SYP,5-HT and NSE,S-100 protein and NSE were weakly positive. They accounted for 18.42%,15.67%,4.31%,4.30% and 0.73% of the total positive cells respectively, and distributed uniformly in corpus luteum.【Conclusion】 Coexistence between four diffused neuroendocrine markers in the corpus luteum cells of dairy goat was presented.
