| This paper fully reviewed the research status of Verticillium dahliae of cotton in China and the world in the following four aspects: ①differentiation of pathogens;② path of variation (heterokaryosis or heterokaryon,parasexuality and cytoplasm variation);③ study method (morphological observation,bioidentification,physiological determination and biochemical analysis);and ④ application of molecular biotechniques. |
