| Genetic Differentiation of Goat Population in Ziwuling Area |

| Abstract: |
| Genetic analysis on 3 class markers with 42 characteristics in 2 goat
breeds on the both sides of Ziwuling mountain was carried out with the random cluster
samplings. The results showed that the degree of genetic differentiation is lower (less
than 7% ) on blood protein loci and coat color loci; and higher (18. 84% ) on the appearance characters.The further study showed that the genetic distance is short (D= 0. 016)
between 2 breeds.Therefore, it is defined that 2 breeds belonged to the same breed but
were differently named. |
