| 以关中气候因素中的温、光资源为依据，提出中早熟型棉花品种是该地区的最适宜品种。这类品种的特点是能充分利用当地的光热资源；５月底、６月初现蕾，发棵大、现蕾数多；７月中旬前开花，伏前桃１～２个，结铃高峰期为８月上旬１９月下旬吐絮，１０月１５日前收花量在８０％以上，早熟、丰产、优质。 |

| Developing Characteristics of the Upland Cotton Varieties Suitable to Cotton Growing Region in Guanzhong |

| Abstract: |
| Based on the temperature and light resources among climatic factors in Guanzhong,this paper presents that the middle early maturing cotton variety is the best variety suitable to this region. The characteristics of cotton variety are to make full use of local light and heat resources. Cotton plants begin to bear buds in late May or early June. Their vegetative parts grow and develop quickly,and the number of buds is larger.They bloom prior to mid-July and bear one or two pre-summer buds,The peak period of bud-bearing is in early August. Buds begin to mature in late September, The percent of picking up cotton will be up to 80% or more till the 15th of October. In this way,cotton varieties can give out their full productive potential so that they can reach early maturity,high yield and good qualities. |
