在稳定增长的棉蚜群体中,1,2,3龄蚜量呈几何级数。各龄蚜量比为1,eλ,e2λ。λ之整系数代表脱皮次数或标准龄周期数。在不同温度下培养的蚜群,经历相等时间可得到不等量的有效积温并完成不等量的龄周期数。此龄同期数可视为发育速度。代入有效积温式可求得发育起点温度和一个龄周期的有效积温(k)。将此理论应用于4龄可得4龄发育速度β。由出生至成蚜出现的总有效积温是kT=(3+β)k。 |

DETERMINING THE EFFECTIVE THERMAL SUMMATION OF THE APHID GOSSYPII BY USING THE MUMBERS OF STANDARD INSTAR PERIOD |

Abstract: |
The numbers of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd instars of Aphid gossypii from a population with a stable increase rate are shown as geometcie series.It is deduced that they need the same paysiological time. The common ratio of’geometric series (e) shows the proportlohs of number as i,eλ,e2λ,of the 3rd,2nd and 1st instars respectively. The integer coefficients of λ (i,e,0,1,2) exactly are the numbers of moults , or the numbers of standard instar periods. The population of aphid growing under different temperatures and undergoing the same time will have different effective thermal summations ,and thus will show different numbers of instar periods. Inducing the numbers of instar period (i.e. the development velocity ) into the linear equations of thermal summation, the effective thermal summation of one standard instar period k and threshold temperature of development can be obtained. Using the same theory on 4th instar, the developmental velocity of 4th instar can be calculated as β.the total effective thermal summation of the Aphid gossypii from birth to adult may be estimated as KT=(3+β)K. |
